Janice Wermann is a writer, artist, and Bible study author passionate about helping believers encounter God’s Word in fresh and life-giving ways. For more than 30 years, Janice worked as a technical writer and manager in the technology and medical device industries, creating clear, detailed materials for global audiences. She holds an English degree from Seattle Pacific University, where her studies in literature and creative writing deepened her love for allegory, imagery, and metaphor—particularly the works of C.S. Lewis.

Her debut devotional, Water of Life, reflects over a decade of journaling word studies, painting acrylic landscapes, and pairing Scripture with art. Blending her literary background with a heartfelt faith, Janice explores how the imagery of water in the Bible reveals Abba’s love, grace, and Spirit at work in our lives.

A lifelong creative, Janice enjoys her family, painting with collage and acrylics, walks in the Cascade foothills, and drawing spiritual inspiration from the beauty of God’s creation. She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, where she continues to write, create, and encourage others to drink deeply from the living water of God’s Word.
